4th Watch: Spirituality - June 28-30 (Week 26)
This is it…the final post for Campaign TAKE 6. It has been an incredible journey! You know, I believe God has a very special place in his heart for women. Just think about all the things he has entrusted to us in this lifetime like child bearing, nurturing the family, and even the wisdom to make something out of nothing. You know what I mean?
God has created us with an inner strength that keeps us pushing forward in spite of our situation, and an unending capacity to love. That’s why I love Him so much. There are many stories in the Bible that reflect just how special God sees us. Here are just a few:
-- When the Lord met Moses (with his wife and sons) at a lodging place on the way back to Egypt and was about to kill him, Moses’ wife (Zipporah) saved his life. (See Exodus 4:24-26)
-- God gave Deborah the prophetess, the battle plan for Israel. (See Judges 4:4-14)
-- God used Queen Esther to foil Haman’s plot to destroy the Jews. (Esther, Chapters 4-7)
-- God could have sent Jesus to earth any way he wanted but he chose our Savior to grow inside Mary’s womb and come through her into the world! (Luke 1:26-56; 2:1-7)
-- A woman was the first person Jesus offered salvation to. It was the Samaritan woman at the well. THIS IS BIG. (I believe there is a great revelation in this.) (See John 4:1-42)
-- Mary Magdalene was the first person Jesus revealed himself to after the resurrection. (John 20:10-18)
That’s powerful stuff, ladies. Now it’s time to seal the word given to me and passed on to you over these last six months. Let us pray:
Father in Heaven, glory to your name! Thank you for each one of your daughters that followed this journey in any way. I speak blessings upon their lives and I speak new life into every dead situation in them and around them, in the name of Jesus. Thank you God for this time of refreshing…and for the love and compassion you’ve poured down on us from January until now. Lord continue to wash us, cleanse us, heal us, deliver us and set us free from all those things that keep us bond, in Jesus’ name. Lord, calibrate our hearts to you. Give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation so that we will know the hope that you have for us. And Lord give us the strength of mind and the tenacity of spirit to follow you when you say, this is the way…walk in it...in the name of Jesus. And from faith to faith and glory to glory, I will forever magnify and exalt your holy name. To you I give all the glory, all the honor, and all the praise. Amen.
Go forth and be fruitful!
