1st Watch - Week 3
So what do you think about your responses to the questions for weeks 1 & 2? It's my guess that you probably didn't have much trouble finding words to express what you think about men. But how about you? Did you hesitate and really have to put considerable thought into answering the same question about yourself? Did any negative traits about your personality or character make your list? Remember, be honest and write everything down. We'll come back to those thoughts later. Here are the questions for week 3:
1. Does the thought that you're not enough in some way ever creep into your mind with regard to men? Explain.
2. Do you believe you are enough? Make a list of what is good about you, and a list of what you believe are not so good qualities.
When you don't believe that you're good enough for someone, your self worth can take a serious hit. And how you respond to this really depends on your personality and how you process and handle hurt. Can you relate? Have you ever given a man everything you had and it still wasn't enough to keep him "satisfied?"

I know I feel like I'm not enough too often. People respect self worth and shun people that lack it. It's a vicous cycle.

I can relate to what you're saying. I spent a lot of my life feeling like I wasn't enough for certain people and situations. But what I found to be true is that as God's creations, each and every one of us are enough for whatever comes our way. You just have to pray for the confidence and strength of mind to believe this. God loves you... and whatever things you face in life, remember that He will give you what you need to accomplish whatever situation He has brought you to. And anyone who doesn't respect you is not worth your time anyway. Be blessed! --Icen
